This Payment Policy explains the payment methods offered by Medixo.eu (“the Website”) and the conditions applicable to each method. By placing an order, you agree to this Policy.

1. Available Payment Methods

The Website offers the following payment options:

  1. Cash on Delivery (COD)

  2. Bank Transfer

  3. Credit/Debit Card Payment

All prices are displayed in EUR or other applicable currencies.


2. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery allows customers to pay directly to the courier upon receiving the shipment.

Conditions:

  • When possible, the shipment is sent with the “Open and Inspect” option.

  • Customers should open the package and verify its contents before accepting and paying (if not prepaid).

  • In case of wrong item, missing item, or damaged goods, the customer must inform the courier immediately and refuse the shipment.

  • Claims for missing or damaged items may be rejected if the package was accepted without inspection.


3. Bank Transfer

Customers may pay via bank transfer.

Conditions:

  • Orders paid by bank transfer are processed and shipped only after the payment has been received in the merchant’s bank account.

  • The order number must be included as the payment reference.

  • Incorrect or missing payment reference may delay processing.

  • Customers are responsible for any bank fees applied by their bank.


4. Card Payments

The Website accepts debit and credit card payments through authorized payment providers.

Conditions:

  • Payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant systems.

  • Card details are not stored by the Website.

  • If a card payment fails, customers should verify:

    • card validity

    • account balance

    • online transaction permissions


5. Order Dispatch

Orders are shipped after:

  • successful card payment or

  • confirmation of COD or

  • receipt of the bank transfer payment

If payment via bank transfer is delayed, the merchant may delay or cancel the order.


6. “Open and Inspect” Option

When supported by the courier, shipments are sent with an inspection option.

Customers should:

  • open the package in the presence of the courier

  • verify correct items and condition

  • report discrepancies immediately

If the shipment is accepted and paid without objection, it is considered approved.


7. Unreceived or Refused Shipments

If a customer unjustifiably refuses or does not collect a shipment:

  • the merchant may charge the delivery costs

  • future orders may require prepayment


8. Changes to the Policy

The merchant may update this Payment Policy at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Website.
